Thanks in advance! If I can figure out how to keep the order of my playlist "frozen" or "read only," I look forward to becoming a foobar2000 user. For example, I can scroll up to see the songs I added around Thanksgiving or Christmas or Spring, and look back on them.Īlso, would it be better for me to use the default layout or the Column UI? I'm mainly looking to emulate my MusicBee layout. Also, while it may seem weird, I enjoy scrolling up to look at the different "eras" of my playlist.

When I'm looking for a song to listen to, I can remember the time I added it to my playlist, making it easy to find it. Like I said, I usually listen to the recently-added songs more frequently, so I'd like them to be easily accessible. I want to keep it in the order for many reasons. I'd like to keep the order of the playlist constant. In foobar2000, it shows up in the order, but if I accidentally click the Artist column or something, it gets sorted with no way to go back. I just want a list as I have in my MusicBee screenshot, where it stays in my manually defined order. I've exported my playlist to use in foobar2000, but I can't find a way to keep the order of my playlist. I usually shuffle this playlist, or I pick a song from one of the most recently-added ones. I have a playlist of 1,016 songs that I like to listen to, so my main MusicBee tab is this playlist. However, I messed with it for a while, and I was unable to get it working how I like. I love customizing my computer, and I would love to take advantage of foobar2000's extensive customization features. I've been a MusicBee user for a long time, but I want to switch to foobar2000 really badly. I didn't want to post this on the RPA sub because this isn't an RPA problem, more of a music problem, and you guys are the best at that. log file that I can look for that will for sure tell me if I'm dealing with a container file or not? Or anything else? I mean, I could just pop a prompt and ask the user to choose if a given album is packed or not, but where's the fun in that? (Also I'm trying to cut down on the number of prompts) I tried using the %subsong% tag, but that just stays at '0'. The most recent of which is figuring out a way to tell a container file and individual files apart automatically. >Moves it to it's designated folder based on whether it's classical or not.Įverything's been going pretty smoothly, apart from some slight snags. >Does all the custom tagging I need with mp3Tag > Asks me if the album is packed, if yes, extracts it using cueTools and replaces the packed files with the extracted files. >Goes through a 'for-each' loop working on one album at a time (in the case of multiple albums) (After I transfer the album/s I downloaded with FTP to a default transfer location) I've been playing around with an RPA program to automate organising my library.
